Our journey began in 2013 when, as parents searching for a safe play mat for our son Jaden, we discovered the presence of cancer-causing Formamide in conventional foam mats. Alarmed by this information and the subsequent bans in European nations like Belgium and France, we embarked on a mission to find a safer alternative. Unable to find a suitable option on the market, we were inspired to create our own: the CorkiMat and the Organic Cotton Play Mat.

As the founder, a mother, and a caring parent, I, Lauren, personally oversee the meticulous selection of all materials. We are dedicated to utilizing naturally grown organic resources in our products. The CorkiMat offers exceptional protection against falls and bumps, features an anti-slip surface, and includes machine-washable covers for convenient care. Our Organic Cotton Play Mat is crafted from soft, 100% Certified Organic Cotton fabric, ideal for delicate skin, making it an essential item from infancy through childhood. It's perfect for tummy time, crawling, sitting, naps, travel, playtime, and learning.

Rest assured, all Pillobebe products are rigorously tested by independent laboratories and comply with all CPSC regulations, ensuring they are FREE of Formamide, Formaldehyde, Flame retardants, PU, PVC, BPA, BPS, Phthalates, Lead, Latex, and harmful VOCs.
